"Train Hard, Fight Easy!" (Gain, 2011)

"Train Hard, Fight Easy!", it is a new motto or trademark or words of motivation for me and my cute course-mate-neighbour-friend ( ^^ ). Before this, we often hear and live with the phrase "Study Hard and Study Smart!", however, today, we need a new turn, a new angle with a new atmosphere. I learnt this "Train Hard, Fight Easy" motto from my beloved spiritual brother and friend. It was when he gave me and my spiritual sister bookmarks. On my bookmark, he wrote, "Study Hard, Study Smart. Train Hard, Fight easy." The moment I saw it, "wow, this is totally new!" I never heard it before. Nonetheless, that time I didn't bother to ask him how did he come up with that phrase. Until the week of our Study Week, I took out the bookmark as I suddenly remembered the words of motivation. This time, it really carries meaning to me. I asked him where did he find the "Train Hard, Fight Easy". He said it is the VAT 69's (commando) motto. And I was like, wow! That is totally Rock!

It is true indeed. When you really train yourself to focus on something and face all the hardships during the process, you'll find yourself to be at eased during the battle. You train yourself very hard so that at the end of the day you can fight easily and enthusiastically. As for "Study Hard,  Study Smart", it carries different meaning to me. "Study Hard" for me is when you train yourself to work hard from the beginning and the process is continuous; not only at certain period. "Study Hard" doesn't suit with working yourself out and burning the midnight oil or working until the wee hours of morning. it doesn't work that way; instead it is what we called as "Last Minute" or "Eleventh Hour". Last Minute determines that you couldn't manage your time well. Take for example, you are still holding and reading your thick reference book during your meals and the test is the next day. Is this showing that, "Oh, look, that girl is so hardworking!" For me, it is definitely not. I've been in this situation before and I came to realize it. I saw my friends (excellent students) never did what i did. Well, you can spot the difference between the style of an excellent student and a not-so-excellent student. Don't think that those who never (or seldom) carries books around is lazy or etc. Who knows it is the other way round. They don't maybe because they are well prepared. There is no need for them to read notes at 20 minutes before the exam start; they don't have to bring any books or notes to the exam hall. This is what I experienced when I was in Matric. Hmm...

As for "Study Smart", for me, you do that because it is at the eleventh hour; you have to do clever guess and all. If compare to the one that "Study Hard", this person learn a lot and the learning is not just for the sake of examination but for the sake of knowledge. As compared to the "Study Smart" person. What's the point if you only study for exam. Nevertheless, if you can do both Hard and Smart, that perhaps would give best result. ^^ Study to gain knowledge and at the same time prepare for the examination.

Well, we are called to Success. Everyone deserves it. It is us that create it, explore it and experience it. Success doesn't go along with luck or accident.

"Genuine excellence and success is the outcome of attitude, talent, skill and hard work." ~ Anonymous

Genuine success gives us satisfaction. We come to a high position which is a meaningful life because we put our blood, sweat and tears to create success. In short, we must train ourselves and disciplined ourselves in order to have a meaningful life.

Read Up! (Mr. Sham, 2011)

Little Girl reading book.

"Read up!", said Mr Sham. Sigh... This holiday is a mess! Mess as in N.O.T.H.I.N.G. to do! Whoa! This time, I didn't bring my so called files and books home. Considering the fact that, "Hey look, I've finish my Foundation!". I only bring home Collin (Eh?). Well, fall for LDS already. P/S: Collin is still in the bag. Back to the topic. My friend and I have made a promise about "Read Up", but it seems like it's going to be tough for me. hoho... To make things clear, I don't know where to start, what to read, etc. I have the feeling that my brain is going to rust which will lead to a difficult start next year. Reading should be something that you do daily, well, if you want to be good in English and the most important thing is - reading for the sake of knowledge. As an educator-to-be, we need to equip ourselves with knowledge. hmm... See, but still... huhu... Well, for now, start with writing. (urrr...) =) hope for the best! To my friends out there that are struggling to know what to do, ciayo!!! ^^

How He Loves Us

He is jealous for me
Love's like a hurricane, I am a tree
Bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy
When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory
and I realize just how beautiful You are and how great your affections are for me.
Oh, how He loves us so
Oh, how He loves us
How He loves us so.

Yeah, He loves us
Woah, how He loves us
Woah, how He loves us
Woah, how He loves.

So we are His portion and He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes
If grace is an ocean we're all sinking
So heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss and my heart turns violently inside of my chest
I don't have time to maintain these regrets when I think about the way

That he loves us,
Woah, how He loves us
Woah, how He loves us
Woah, how He loves

He loves us,
Woah, how He loves us
Woah, how He loves us
Woah, how He loves

Cause He loves us,
Woah, how He loves us
Woah, how He loves us
Woah, how He loves

Yeah, He loves us
Woah, how He loves us
Woah, how He loves us
Woah, how He loves

Me and My siblings learnt this song from On The Rock last Sunday (20th November 2011). It is truly a good song. How great is Him. ~ John 3:16

Holiday...hmm...

Holiday...Isn't it supposed to be fun and exciting? This time, "Foundation Holiday" is not that fun because I have nothing to do AT ALL. No books, no reading, no broadband (means no online, no blogging, no Fb-ing. p/s: i'm using my sister's friend's broadband). i feel like my brain is rusting terrible-ly. I think i'm going to spend my holiday worrying on my result.hoho..

The Atmosphere

Grrr… I’m the one that would not think of holiday (which mean balik kampung) if there is exam before the holiday. The examinations make my mind only to think the thing that is before the exams. Almost every evening my mom would listen to Iban song while doing house chores. waa.. I miss that moment. Now I can’t wait to go home. Well, only lagu Iban can make me think of home.huhu.. And one thing, I know for sure, later when I’m home, I would surely 100%, 360 degrees and 100 degree celcius will be missing Ipoh Perak; Ipoh Parade, GM, Jusco, Giant, IPIP, my room, church, friends etc. Wow… And We will be entering our Degree atmosphere next year!! ^^ Meaning, another 4 years to go! Well, I pray that everything will be fine and goes according to His way as His way is greater and higher than our way.=) Pray that Me and my friend start a new atmosphere with new mission(s). p/s I miss my uncle. huhu… Ghosh, this Iban song, really give me the atmosphere. T_T

It was arranged Beautifully

A moment ago, there's this thing that crossed my mind; His plan. Wow, it's true, My plan is not Your plan, Your plan is the best.^^ Come to think of it, I came here which is far from hometown, family and everything with a purpose. Purpose of becoming a star, a star that shines its light and shoos away the darkness. So, here it is, along the mission, God does not let me walk alone. He sent lovely people to help me along the way. Wow, thank you, Lord. All these lovely people that I befriend with are those who have arrived at their destinations. Because of this, I learnt a lot from them. The way they handle things, the way they think, the way they talk etc. I can see the cloth which was plain (all of us are like plain clothes) turn to a colourful and meaningful cloth. The way they see things is different; in a mature way. Let's take an example, for us, we tend to mark bad things that happen in our lives as problems, but to them, those bad things are trials, trials that help you to be a more strong and mature-in-mind person. See, there is a difference between PROBLEMS and TRIALS. All those problems (to us) are not obstacles that can prevent us from moving forward; to be a better person. All said and done, wherever you go, there is always at least one person that will really help you along the way. So, don't be afraid to befriend with a lot of people with different characters because for sure, you will learn and discover new things; new things that will help you to be fully prepared in the future. Don't see things from one angle, but try to see it from various angles so that you will get a clear picture. ^^

Grateful me..

howdy!

Taking a new turn; blogger.com. Instead of sticking to something that you don't even know how to use or operate it, it is better to try something new which is much more user-friendly. Perhaps, after getting used to this new thing, move back to the old one and explore. In other words, start with something easy first then move to a more complicated one. Well, maybe the old one is not that complicated, it is just me; lazy to discover and learn.
