Empty Me by Jeremy Camp

Holy fire, burn away
My desire of anything
that is not of you and is of me
I want more of you and less of me, yeah (x2)

Empty me, empty me, yeah
Fill, won't you fill me
With you and less of me, yeah (x2)

One of the song from the album Empty Me Volume One. A good song to remind us to be more like Jesus and less of ourselves. To God's people, listen more to songs that praise and worship Him. "Nanti jeles Dia kalau kita selalu dengar lagu duniawi." (Friend, 2011)^^

Talking about House...

Dream House eh...

Hmm..What should I write about this huhh... hmm... "House" reminds me of someone. It was that person that make me think of having my true, genuine, magnificient family house (not my house eh..). Well, before this I WAS thinking about having family house(Grandparents, parents, uncle and siblings), but this time, the desire is much more stronger.^^ Since I have example, I mean as my benchmark.^^

Living room

I learnt that it is not as easy as it seen. It is not only buying a house but the process after it that makes you "begantung senduk" (means makan maggi and air putih la hujung bulan) at the end of the month.hoho... "Begantung senduk" is for people like me, not those who are born with gold, luxury, blink blink etc.huhu... There's this one house I saw; our relative's house. It's a wow! She and her husband bought a house near the airport as the husband is a chief pilot(tu dia!). The first time I went to their house, it was still empty I mean with only the basic facilities like sofa, fridge and well, the basic stuff. But, the second time I went there, it's a bammm, everything's change! The house is full with furnitures like another new big sofa, home theatre with a new build mini stage. That time, the 1st floor is still empty. But, days ago, my mom told me that the house now is complete. Mom said, 1st floor, which is the bedrooms are like 5star hotel already. Wow! Can't imagine what my relative done to the pilot-house.haha... My mom told me that you're not only need money to buy a house, but also to "fill" the house.

Bedroom

Kitchen
Talking about "filling" the house; this person (another person) also gave me the idea of how "kaw" it is to fill the house. I mean, not that that person told me that it's hard but the way I myself see it. When talk about put up the curtain, they said, "that one is around RM1000." They said it cool-ly. Man...thousand for just putting up the curtain?? I can ask my mom jahit and do the tempat gantung curtain for free yo! fuhhh... Not to mention the furnitures in the living room, bedrooms and kitchen. At the end of the day, you can see money $$ flying in the house or worst, you never want to step your foot inside as you don't want to scratch the expensive marbled floor.

Well, if you're the type that desire a castle-mansion-house, you will begantung senduk at the end of the month unless you're a billionaire.hoho... The point is buying a house is another thing, "filling" the house is another thing.

Time Flies!

The time is flying away!
Time flies! Just a blink of eyes, the holidays end and my status will be "Budak Degree".hoho..  Year by year, I'm getting older (well, of course!) and the responsibilities are also getting heavier because you're getting to KNOW things. Can't be a little kid that has no worries at all; just playing and enjoy life.hehe..

With a new year of 2012, a new mission (s) must be set. We need a guide to make us on track right? Hmm..what's my mission eh? I hope I can do something about it and not like before or like "selalunya/kebiasaannya", no action. haha.. huhu.. So, guess a change is needed in our lives as change is the only constant thing in the world. So, friends, let's do something. One step at a time. It would be hard to change right? haha... Just give it a go! Slowly but surely we will harvest what we plant. ^^

His name... MERLIN

MERLIN... King Uther, Prince Arthur, Merlin, Gaius, Lady Morgana & Guinevere

"In a land of myth and in time of magic, the future of a great kingdom rest on a shoulders of a young boy... His name...Merlin."(in season 4 it's 'a young man', well of course, Merlin da beso da..)XD

haha, okay, these are the lines from the drama series, Merlin. I can say that my siblings and me myself can memorize the opening sentences of the drama series. Before this, I told my friend, Ija that I don't really like Merlin. I watch it because I want to listen to the language which is British I guess. I've watch season 1 till season 3. Well, at first it was boring. Then at season 2, I started to fall in love with it. Then, bammm, I totally in love with Merlin (the story ye...)! My siblings and I are anticipated for Merlin season 4 which has started this week.Yayy!!!

Arthur and Merlin

Well, what's interesting is Prince Arthur and Merlin remind me of someone. That person is like both Prince Arthur and Merlin. To be specific, alike not in the appearance but their characteristics. Merlin is a man that willing to give his life for Arthur. Arthur is a wise leader, a knight and he loves the people of Camelot more than he loves himself. It must be great if we can find someone that is as nice as these two characters. A leader or knight in shining armour or a guardian angel that protect you wherever you are.^^ That's all I want to share. Totally fallen for Merlin!XD

Daddy's Stuff - Once upon a time...

Once upon a time...bring us back to the Golden Oldies day. So, here it is, my dad said to me, "Bi, kaset lagu lama ku dah rusak." Then, the next thing, dad gave me a not-so-long list of the songs in his "Golden Oldies" cassette album. There were 30++ songs which are my favourite too.=) So, I spent my afternoon downloading the songs; some of it as I'm using broadband. I think I need a week to download it.hmm... There's this one song I really like; Kiss and Say Goodbye by The Manhattans.^^ This is the lyrics:

Kiss and Say Goodbye – The Manhattans

This has got to be the saddest day of my life
I called you here today for a bit of bad news
I won't be able to see you anymore
Because of my obligations, and the ties that you have
We've been meeting here everyday
And since this is our last day together
I wanna hold you just one more time
When you turn and walk away, don't look back
I wanna remember you just like this
Let's just kiss and say goodbye

I had to meet you here today
There's just so many things to say
Please don't stop me 'til I'm through
This is something I hate to do
We've been meeting here so long
I guess what we've done, oh was wrong
Please darlin', don't you cry
Let's just kiss and say goodbye (Goodbye!)

Many months have passed us by
(I'm gonna miss you)
I'm gonna miss you, I can't lie
(I'm gonna miss you)
I've got ties, and so do you
I just think this is the thing to do
It's gonna hurt me, I can't lie
Maybe you'll meet, you'll meet another guy
Understand me, won't you try, try, try, try, try, try, try
Let's just kiss and say goodbye (Goodbye!)

Hmmmm
(I'm gonna miss you)
I'm gonna miss you, I can't lie
(I'm gonna miss you)
Understand me, won't you try
(I'm gonna miss you)
It's gonna hurt me, I can't lie
(I'm gonna miss you)
Take my hankerchief and wipe your eyes
(I'm gonna miss you)
Maybe you'll find, you'll find another guy
(I'm gonna miss you)
Let's kiss and say goodbye, pretty baby
(I'm gonna miss you)
Please, don't you cry
(I'm gonna miss you)
Understand me, won't you try
(I'm gonna miss you)
Let's just kiss and say goodbye

I like the music.=) Well, we should not be biased only listen to one type of song(Genre), no harm if we listen to all type of songs (different language as well).^^

"Train Hard, Fight Easy!" (Gain, 2011)

"Train Hard, Fight Easy!", it is a new motto or trademark or words of motivation for me and my cute course-mate-neighbour-friend ( ^^ ). Before this, we often hear and live with the phrase "Study Hard and Study Smart!", however, today, we need a new turn, a new angle with a new atmosphere. I learnt this "Train Hard, Fight Easy" motto from my beloved spiritual brother and friend. It was when he gave me and my spiritual sister bookmarks. On my bookmark, he wrote, "Study Hard, Study Smart. Train Hard, Fight easy." The moment I saw it, "wow, this is totally new!" I never heard it before. Nonetheless, that time I didn't bother to ask him how did he come up with that phrase. Until the week of our Study Week, I took out the bookmark as I suddenly remembered the words of motivation. This time, it really carries meaning to me. I asked him where did he find the "Train Hard, Fight Easy". He said it is the VAT 69's (commando) motto. And I was like, wow! That is totally Rock!

It is true indeed. When you really train yourself to focus on something and face all the hardships during the process, you'll find yourself to be at eased during the battle. You train yourself very hard so that at the end of the day you can fight easily and enthusiastically. As for "Study Hard,  Study Smart", it carries different meaning to me. "Study Hard" for me is when you train yourself to work hard from the beginning and the process is continuous; not only at certain period. "Study Hard" doesn't suit with working yourself out and burning the midnight oil or working until the wee hours of morning. it doesn't work that way; instead it is what we called as "Last Minute" or "Eleventh Hour". Last Minute determines that you couldn't manage your time well. Take for example, you are still holding and reading your thick reference book during your meals and the test is the next day. Is this showing that, "Oh, look, that girl is so hardworking!" For me, it is definitely not. I've been in this situation before and I came to realize it. I saw my friends (excellent students) never did what i did. Well, you can spot the difference between the style of an excellent student and a not-so-excellent student. Don't think that those who never (or seldom) carries books around is lazy or etc. Who knows it is the other way round. They don't maybe because they are well prepared. There is no need for them to read notes at 20 minutes before the exam start; they don't have to bring any books or notes to the exam hall. This is what I experienced when I was in Matric. Hmm...

As for "Study Smart", for me, you do that because it is at the eleventh hour; you have to do clever guess and all. If compare to the one that "Study Hard", this person learn a lot and the learning is not just for the sake of examination but for the sake of knowledge. As compared to the "Study Smart" person. What's the point if you only study for exam. Nevertheless, if you can do both Hard and Smart, that perhaps would give best result. ^^ Study to gain knowledge and at the same time prepare for the examination.

Well, we are called to Success. Everyone deserves it. It is us that create it, explore it and experience it. Success doesn't go along with luck or accident.

"Genuine excellence and success is the outcome of attitude, talent, skill and hard work." ~ Anonymous

Genuine success gives us satisfaction. We come to a high position which is a meaningful life because we put our blood, sweat and tears to create success. In short, we must train ourselves and disciplined ourselves in order to have a meaningful life.
